Location is perfect, right across from the beach. The room felt old and not very clean. Complimentary breakfast was limited, not much to pick from. Nice pool area, but it could use better maintenance.

The location is excellent, right across from the beach, which is a major plus. The rooms felt outdated and could use some deep cleaning. Parking is very limited and a bit tight. Pool area is nice but gets crowded quickly. Would consider staying again for the beach access.

The room was cozy with a charming, homey vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and extra throw pillows added a delightful touch. Temperature control was effective, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. While the noise level was manageable, disturbances from nearby guests were unfortunate. The small size of the room didn’t detract from its cleanliness. I appreciated the first-rate breakfast, which made mornings enjoyable. crowded pool areas and unruly guests impacted the overall experience. Staff responsiveness to issues was lacking, highlighting a need for better attention to guest concerns.

A solid location with the beach across the street made it convenient. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had a stylish mini fridge. Sadly, the dated accommodations showed their age, especially the tricky door locks. The pool area had some rowdy kids, which ruined the vibe a bit. I was disappointed with the lack of housekeeping and limited toiletries. Management seemed unavailable during an incident with stolen jewelry, which left a bad taste. Still, the attentive staff and decent breakfast made up for some shortcomings, giving me a reason to consider returning.

The rooms felt like a warm hug with super comfy beds! The pool area was so much fun, and we loved chilling in the jacuzzi after a busy day. The staff were absolute gems, making our stay even more special!
would be happy to recommend ❤️😊

A prime location with a fantastic beach view. The pool and bar area are standout features, enhancing the experience with a waterfall bench and family-friendly access. The breakfast was good, and the staff serving it were charming, especially with my kids. Room decor had nice touches, but cleanliness was lacking. Mildew and spills shouldn't be part of a guest's stay. Check-in was delayed without any communication, and pool staff could improve customer service significantly. The rules were inconsistently enforced, leading to a frustrating experience for my children. This place has potential but needs significant improvements in maintenance and hospitality to truly shine.

Our room had a great ocean view with comfy chairs to relax.
It wasn't cheap, but worth it for the family experience.

Gaido's Seaside Inn in Galveston exceeded our expectations! The breakfast spread was exceptional, featuring real eggs and homemade waffles. The charming courtyard provided a fun atmosphere with giant chess and bowling. The staff were incredibly welcoming, creating a cozy home-away-from-home vibe. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Just steps away from the beach, I enjoyed countless scenic strolls along the sand, while being surrounded by amazing restaurants like Gaido's Seafood and Nick's Kitchen just a few paces from my room, ensuring delicious meals were always nearby, plus I loved the complimentary breakfast which was truly a highlight of my stay with real eggs and homemade waffles; while the hotel had some areas that could use improvement, like maintaining the amenities, the incredible access to attractions like the Galveston Children's Museum and the Seawall Boulevard made it all worthwhile!

It’s right across the street from the beach. The seafood at Gaido’s is top-notch, and the staff is super friendly.
Breakfast was a bit thin and chaotic.

The location was fantastic, just across from the beach, with plenty of nearby restaurants. The big pool and hot tub were a hit with my kids, and the outdoor bar added a nice touch. We could even fit our family of six in the room comfortably, which was great. Additionally, the breakfast was unique, and we enjoyed dining outside next to the fun outdoor games.
We had some noisy neighbors during our stay that disrupted our sleep. Despite several calls to the front desk, the noise continued late into the night, affecting our rest.

I loved how just across the street was the beach, making it super convenient for strolls along the shore, and I enjoyed being within walking distance of great spots on Seawall Boulevard like the Rain Forest Cafe and Gaido's Seafood Restaurant which were only a few steps away; plus, it was nice to relax in the hotel’s comfortable room with a cozy bed, hot shower, and clean pool, but it would be even better if the hotel could update some areas to improve cleanliness.

Our experience at Gaido's Seaside was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, right by the beach, which we loved. the room itself left much to be desired. The air conditioning worked great, which was a relief on hot days, but the heating was a bit inconsistent. The room had a sitting area, which was nice for relaxing, but there was no dining table or patio to enjoy meals outside. The free toiletries were a nice touch, but the lack of a washing machine or dryer was inconvenient. In terms of the amenities, the room had basic cookware and kitchen utensils, which came in handy for simple meals. The room had an AM/FM alarm clock, which was helpful for waking up in the morning, but the flat-screen TV was a bit temperamental, cutting out at times. The carpeted floor felt a bit outdated, and we would have preferred a more modern parquet floor. Gaido's Seaside had its ups and downs.

The pool experience was a total letdown. They let non-guests in, making it overcrowded and chaotic. Plus, the pool staff was rude, especially to kids. We felt unwelcome and disrespected, which really soured our stay. Disappointing.

The warm hospitality and charming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The pool, dubbed The Splash Zone, was a hit with our kids, offering a fun and safe area for them to play while we relaxed in the spa. The Kiddie Cove pool section was perfect for our little ones to enjoy water activities. Our family also loved the beach-facing grill, Sandy Eats, where we savored delicious meals at affordable prices.
My wife says that the addition of a small playground area near the pool would enhance the family-friendly experience.

we had a great stay at gaido's seaside inn. the location is perfect, right across from the beach and with easy access to restaurants. the breakfast was a step above the usual motel fare, offering breakfast burritos and caramel apples. the pool and outdoor bar made us feel like we were at a much nicer resort, and there was even live music on three of the nights. the rooms were clean and the service was excellent, with plenty of space for luggage and comfortable beds.
Nothing could have been better! 😊

Being just steps away from the sea made it convenient to enjoy the beach whenever I wanted. The pool was clean and not overcrowded, providing a relaxing spot to unwind. The freshly made breakfast was a delightful start to my mornings. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, and there were ample parking spaces available.
The rooms felt dated and had a musty smell. There were signs of wear and tear, such as rust on lamps and faucets.

The ocean view from the room was breathtaking, and the pool was a delightful spot for relaxation. The freshly made breakfast was a highlight, and the cable TV kept the kids entertained. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

the room was surprisingly clean and comfy, and close to the sandy beach! got to check out local faves like Nicks and Gumbo Daddy’s. the dispensary in the room was a game changer - no need to pack shampoo!
Totally recommend.

The updated rooms and delicious breakfast made for an enjoyable stay at this Galveston seaside inn. The friendly and helpful staff at breakfast were a highlight, and the convenient parking for our cruise was a great value. Although we didn't have time to swim, the pool looked amazing and the hot tub was always a hit. Being right on the water and close to everything was a plus, and the ocean-view room with Adirondack chairs added to the charm. a good price considering the location and amenities provided.
The unfriendly service from one of the breakfast servers. Her lack of communication and rude behavior made it difficult to understand the food options and enjoy the meal.

Enjoyed the outdoor pool and pool bar. The complimentary breakfast with breakfast tacos was a pleasant surprise. The seafood restaurant's nautical theme was elegant and charming.
The bathroom in my room felt like it had its own ecosystem.

The pool vibes were on point with cool local peeps. The beach was a stone's throw away and the food slapped! 10/10 would stay again for sure!
More lit party events needed for the young crowd! .
